Yeah, it's been a long while since my last post but here I am again! Lately, I've been playing The Wind Waker lately but not a lot. I have lots of important things to do.
So yesterday I dressed up like Mario (overalls, A cap with a letter M on it, white gloves, red shirt and brown and black shoes). Ok, this is kind of embarrasing. Oh and I wear glasses so, I actually dressed up as Mario with glasses. Ok, this is embarassing...
When I went to GameStop, the people there called me Mario. So, anyway, I bought a Link 18 x 24 Sticker. I'll be sure to take a picture of it when I get the chance.
Anyway, you can call me stupid for dressing up as Mario if you want. I don't mind.

And then I shot him in the head and...
Yeah well, about four days ago I beat Link's Crossbow Training. Well, I finished all the levels but I haven't gotten all medals. Well anyway, of course the game was short and definatly not a very good game. It still was fun though. Boss Battles were my favorite part of the game.
I was disappointed in the fact that the game was short (but I was expecting it to be from the day the game was announced) and that it wasn't a real game-just a few...tests...games...whatever you call it. It's sad to think that this game could have been an adventure game with Link going around the kingdom trying to save the land of Hyrule from monsters or something. But no...
Also Lake Hylia, Faron Woods (the Lost Woods don't count) and Death Mountain weren't included in this game...and (TWILIGHT PRINCESS SPOILERS!) how was Hyrule Castle rebuilt? Wasn't it destroyed at the end of the game? And Stallord...did he come back to...uhh the "undead" life? How?
The game was still fun anyway. I recommend it only if you're planning on getting Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles or some other game that uses the Wii Zapper. Unlucky me, I got the Wii Zapper just for Link's Crossbow Training. And that didn't go so well.

A Fake Legend

So I got Link's Crossbow Training and it ain't the best game out there you now. But it's just $20 for the Wii Zapper and the game...that's cool right? The game is of course short however you'll definatly play this game more than Wii Play. This game is way funner than Wii Play.
I'm disappointed that Nintendo didn't turn this game into an adventure. Yes a game where Link goes around Hyrule with a gun (Crossbow) shooting his enemies. It would be a lot funner than this game...
But I still love this game and I'm happy with it. Meanwhile, I found this website with various awesome picture of someone dressing up as Link. I'm totally jealous! I want that costume so badly!
I know it tells you on the site the directions to making it but you know...I'm so lazy and stuff that I prefer buying the costume off EBay. But that would be too much money...I mean have you seen how much the Link Costumes are worth?!
Well...for now I'll just enjoy Link's Crossbow Training. Oh...that reminds me...I have to play Wind Waker a little more. I haven't played for...four days...

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker: New Game

Today was the day I got The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Right now I'm in the first dungeon of the game. So far, the game is pretty good. The Cel-Shaded graphics look ok and I actually laughed when Link was tossed to the fortress in a barrel.
Hopefully, unlike Super Mario Galaxy, this game will take me some time to finish.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess: It's All Over!

I finished The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (finally after four months of having it) but I was dissapointed about some parts on the game (but I mostly loved the game. It was awesome...BETTER THAN OCARINA OF TIME!
So ok the game was short (hard at first) but after Arbiter's Grounds the game was really rushed. And then Midna. Midna stole all the spotlight. The whole game was about her. The title of the game was about her. Everything was about Midna...the...Twilight Princess. Sorry for the spoilers.
And the Final Boss was too easy. Not as easy as Bowser and Bowser Jr. in the hottub taking a shower, in a volcano, with Peach in a rubber ducky, and Mario using a water pump, but it was easier than a purple mushroom named Princess Shroob, then a bigger Princess Shroob and then a monster-giant version of the other Princess Shroob. You get the idea.
Oh and there's no Gerudos in the game, and Zelda doesn't seem to have any feelings for Link! Come on, Zelda barely appears in the game. Ah...and the Skull Kid is just weird but helpful-but not really needed. And thats mostly all my complaining. So anyway, the game was great, not a 100/100 great but a 98/100 great.

Link and the Portal of Doom
Hey, wanna see a cool book I got at a book order in my school about a year ago? It's Link and the Portal of Doom. I actually got this book, before I played a "The Legend of Zelda" game. I'm sure no one has ever heard of this book so I'm nice enough to include a picture.

The book takes place shortly after the events of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. (Young) Link and Navi are walking through Hyrule Field when Talon (reffered to as simply farmer) tells him that his Cuccos have escaped! Link goes off to find them in the forest.
Link then finds a giant portal sucking Cuccos in! The portal then starts sucking Link in! Link is able to escape the portal's sucking power, but he wonders how to stop the portal from sucking everything in. It might even suck everyone from Hyrule in!
Navi finds text near to the giant portal. It's Ancient Hylian, and Kaeopora Gaepora (out of nowhere) is able to translate Ancient Hylian for Link. Iy says that to close the portal, Link must play songs for it, or something like that. Link goes around Hyrule learning new songs.
At the end, he combines all songs and sings all of them for the portal who's trying to suck him in. The portal starts getting weaker as Link keeps playing. And then the portal almost sucks Link in, but Zelda and Impa get him just in time.
The portal closes and Hyrule is saved. Link says that he and Zelda will protect Hyrule "together". Zelda smiles and says "Together". Ah...sweet love. Oh and this book is part of the Nintendo Heroes series (the other books in the series I don't have but I've heard of another one about Mario).
This book was made by Tracey West. Oh and there's stickers inside. And it has the official Nintendo seal, don't worry.
